Jerry Lee Lewis — Great Balls of Fire - 1957
We just watched Bones together on Skype. It felt so normal, because that’s something we generally do most days when we’re in the same city. We laughed at the lame jokes & her smiles made my heart swell with love. She’s most definitely worth braving the distance.
I’ll see her on Thursday, unless the stupid volcano decides to ruin my plans. All I need to do is not focus on how much I’m hating the packing & cleaning I need to do & instead remember that we’ll be in the same city, together, by noon on Thursday.
I would say… somewhere in the alps, perhaps Austria? You could go skiing/snowboarding while I make snow people & throw snowballs at you, there would be saunas, I could pick pretty flowers & give you posies, we could re-enact The Sound of Music (except we don’t need to have so many children), we could eat strudels & streusels & sauerkraut & sausages (alliteration foods), there would be plenty of good beer, we could have lots of eskimo kisses & snuggle up every day & night.

Five pet peeves.
- Bad grammar & punctuation
- People who don’t clean up after themselves
- Being parked in
- Parents who put their children on leashes
- Ugg boots worn anywhere other than in your own home
