I feel pretty alright about my body. But not just my body; I feel pretty alright in a holistic kind of way. I mean, I try and be nice to people, I avoid eating fat, I read a good book every now and then, I get some walking in, and I try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.
are difficult people to get along with. If it weren’t for my sisters I’d never talk to my parents again. I adore my grandma & grandpa though. As for everyone else, I don’t see them much, but the aunts & uncles on Mum’s side are pretty great.
But I have to get up at 6am to catch the train to the airport. I’d forgotten what it was like not being able to check in online because of checked baggage. I can normally travel with only a duffel bag with everything in it for a whole week, but this time I’m taking some stuff down to Julia.
The good thing though, is that I can fill the space on the way back to Brisbane with all the clothes I buy when I go vintage shopping. Buying more things is probably not the best idea when I have to move house next week. Oh well. A girl’s got to have lots of nice clothes.
I hate buying clothes that aren’t second hand. Used clothing means no wearing in & they’re stretched as much as they’ll go so you can be sure they fit the same as when you buy them. An added bonus is that clothes from the 40s-60s were made to fit body types like mine: little in the middle but I’ve got much back.
But really, what I’m most excited about is the snuggles. There better be lots or I’ll be grumpy.
